Does your moving company assemble furniture? If so, do you bring your own tools?

Yes, assembling and disassembling furniture is included in our moving services. Our movers always bring the right tools for the job, and you won't pay extra.  

What type of payments do you accept? 

We understand paying for a move can be expensive, which is why we give you plenty of payment options. You can pay for moving services with any major credit card or cash.

Do you have a minimum price? Can you charge less than the minimum price?

Our pricing model is on a per-hour basis, and the shortest time that we can reserve our movers is 2.5 hours. We cannot charge less than that minimum for any move.  

Can myself, friends or family members help out during the move?

If you want to handle part of the move with friends and family, that's no problem. We have clients who do just that to save money and others that are simply more comfortable handling some things themselves. Just be sure to let our movers know before things get underway so they can focus their time and attention on other tasks.

Do you provide two movers and a moving truck? 

All jobs will have at least two professional movers and the right sized moving truck for the job.

Do you bring your own equipment? 

We provide all moving equipment needed to move everything efficiently and safely.

Can I pack stuff into a POD instead of a truck?

Sure, if you only need help loading or unloading a moving POD our movers can help out!

How soon in advance should I book services?

We always say, the sooner the better. When you have to make a move during the summer peak season or on the weekend when movers are busier, it's best to schedule services at least a month in advance. However, as soon as you know when you need to move, that's the time to schedule services.

Do you provide free estimates for moving costs?

You betcha! There's no better way to determine the moving cost than an estimate from a professional mover. Our rates are online and based per hour so you can do a rough estimate. You can also contact us for a free estimate. We'll help you accurately determine how many hours are needed for the move and the cost of additional services like packing.

Just keep in mind free estimates aren't binding estimates. The estimate might not be the price that's actually paid on the final bill.

What can I do to make the move go quicker and easier?

Two things we suggest are: inventory everything and label everything. When you are packing up inventory everything that's going into each box. Then label the boxes accordingly.

This will keep things better organized and help the movers know how to handle the boxes and where they need to go.

What do I need to keep in mind if I'm moving into a new home?

If the home is in an HOA there could be move-in regulations. Check your HOA guidelines if you're unsure. You'll also need to make sure the utilities are set up at your new home, particularly the electricity for adequate lighting.

Do you do moves that go outside of Texas?

Moving to a new city in another part of the country is an exciting experience! Unfortunately, at this time we do not provide out-of-state moves. However, we're based in Central Texas and can help you make a long distance move to a new city anywhere in the state.

We also provide loading and unloading services from a POD or truck here in Texas whether it's being delivered to your new house or storage space. Just let us know the delivery dates and we'll be there to do the heavy lifting!

Do you charge extra to wrap or pad furniture? 

Never! We don't agree that a professional mover should charge extra for protecting your belongings. That's part of what you are hiring a moving company to do, so we include wrapping and padding furniture as a part of the moving service.

Do you charge extra for packing supplies?

We only charge for the packing supplies themselves based on how many boxes you need. We're able to pass on the discounts we get so you can save money on the supplies and lower your moving costs overall. We have boxes of all sizes, bubble wrap, packing papers and more.

Do you rent out equipment or trucks?

No, at this time we perform moves only and do not rent any equipment or trucks.

Do you accept tips?

Yes! We always appreciate knowing we have satisfied customers that are so happy they want to tip us. Tips are a great way for our movers to cover the cost of things like food expenses on the job and protective equipment.

Are deposits required to schedule moving services? 

No, we're not one of those moving companies that requires a deposit, down payment or money order. We don't take payment until your move is complete.

Do I need to sign a contract?

Everything will need to be in writing to protect both parties. Signatures will be collected on the day of the move once the movers arrive.

What if I decide to cancel my move?

We get it. Things change in life, and it's sometimes out of our control. If you decide to cancel your move, please contact us immediately.

Can you unload the truck at the final destination even if I'm not there?

As long as we have access to the property we can unload the truck. We just need someone on-site who can sign off on the services once we're done.

Are there any safety concerns to watch out for?

When you're moving heavy appliances, furniture and boxes there's always a certain level of risk. We always advise that clients make sure all pathways are clear of any trip hazards before we arrive on moving day. That includes exterior pathways from the front door or garage to the moving truck.

How do you handle loss and damage claims?

For the most part, the vast majority of moves go super smooth. But things happen over the course of a move no matter how well-prepared you are. It involves a lot of heavy lifting, travel and handling that can lead to unavoidable accidents where things break. With so many things moving around it's also easy to lose something in the process.

That's why we are fully insured in the event there are damaged or lost goods during any part of the moving process from start to finish. We take great care while packing, wrapping, loading and unloading the moving truck so a loss or damage is rare. If it does happen our moving company will make it right.
